At its heart, coaching is a collaborative partnership designed to help you get from where you are to where you want to be—whether that’s in your personal life, career, health, or relationships. It’s not about someone giving you the answers; it’s about working alongside a trained professional who helps you uncover your own insights, clarify your goals, and take consistent action toward them. Since coaching is future-focused and client-led, the benefits can be as broad as improved confidence, productivity, resilience, and overall life satisfaction as defined by each client’s goals and values.
A coach provides:
Clarity – Helping you identify what truly matters and cut through distractions.
Structure – Creating a framework so progress feels focused and achievable.
Accountability – Encouraging you to follow through on commitments to yourself.
Support & Perspective – Offering a nonjudgmental space to think big, experiment, and reflect.
Being the Client
Coaching is designed to fit into your life—not take it over. The level of commitment is largely up to you, and I’ll always meet you where you are.
Before sessions:
I encourage you to come with a general sense of what you’d like to explore, whether that’s a specific challenge, a goal, or simply “something’s been on my mind.” You don’t have to prepare anything formal—just bring your honest thoughts and willingness to be present.
Between sessions:
Sometimes, I may offer handouts, reflection prompts, or exercises. These are completely optional—you decide if and when to use them. Many clients enjoy the extra tools; others prefer to focus solely on our conversations. Both approaches work and these tools are yours to use privately so I will not expect to see them or discuss them unless you decide to.
Number of sessions:
There’s no rigid requirement. I offer both single 1:1 sessions and packages of multiple sessions. Packages can give you ongoing support and momentum, while single sessions are great for focused exploration or a one-time reset. Either option can be themed around a specific goal or kept open for whatever topics arise.
Getting started:
I highly recommend scheduling a free 20-minute Discovery Call before committing to coaching. This gives us a chance to meet, talk through your needs, and make sure we’re a great fit for working together.
